A recent development in HMA technology is the DD HMA80-C. This filter has a Chlorpluss cartridge installed, in place of the EP 10. This removes Chloramines as well as Chlorine. The Chlorpluss cartridge is the most efficient available today and its performance enhances the lifetime of the HMA element.
The DD HMA 80C is a three pod unit and only needs a cartridge change after 70,000 litres, although in areas with large amounts of sediment in the water the pre filter may need changing before this.
DD HMA 80-C produces no waste water at all and is ideal for small fish houses.
