The DD HMA 20 tap water filter is a TWIN 10" pod and is supplied with a Spectrum PFBC carbon cartridge and Spectrum SSP Sediment filter
The revolutionary PFBC multi purpose cartridge tackles chlorine, chloramine and holding sediment in one. The design utilizes catalytic carbon to deliver exceptional filtration results, keeping you and your environment safe.
The presence of chlorine and chloramine (if present) can be harmful to fish, and biological filtration bacteria.
Replacing the SPECTRUM PBC, the PFBC offers a lower pressure drop and higher dirt-holding capacity whilst removing chlorine and chloramine.
Although strictly not necessary we include a 1 micron sediment filter, reason being we believe this will extend the useful life of the carbon especially in areas where there is excessive sediment in the water supply
Removes Chlorine @2mg/l to 190.000 litres and Chloramine (if present) @ 3mg/l to 30.000 litres making cartridge change outs very rare.
If you experience a drop off in flow through the filter before any of the limits are reached, change the sediment element.
Available with 1/4" John Guest fittings and tube or with garden hose fittings (Please note no hose connectors or hose are supplied with the garden hose option)
John Guest option supplied ready to use with 3/4" BSP connector (fits washing machine type taps or garden hose taps) 10 meters of tube, on / off valve, housing wrench, installation and maintenance instructions.
Hose pipe option - supplied with housing wrench, installation and maintenance instructions (hose connectors, hose, on/off valve not supplied)
