Eheim SUBSTRATpro is Eheim's top of the range biological filter media.
Pearl shaped, highly porous filter material made from sintered glass and it has a large surface for bacteria to colonise (450 m² per litre).
The pearl shape enables the water to flow through the media easier, reducing dead spots and making the media more efficient.
Suitable for use in external canister canisters, larger internal filters and sumps
