We ship the frozen food in a poly box (and add freezer blocks if very warm at night (22 C plus forecast) and send it on APC's Next Day by 12 service. If you are out the driver has instruction to "LEAVE SAFE WITH NOTE SAYING WHERE" - if you pay using PayPal they should send you the tracking details, likewise APC will text you if you have provided a mobile number. And you can track your delivery on the apc-overnight.com website after about 8pm on the day of despatch. We can do no more !
Once any package has left here, we of course have zero control over it and "by 12" is not always the case. Due to numerous issues couriers have with in their network the package can be very early, very late or even on time.
On very rare occasions, the package may miss the connecting lorry at the hub, when this happen it will be delivered after a second night - if this happens folk are naturally concerned that the food will spoil, however in our experience this rarely happens, it may arrive soft, partially defrosted but so long as it is cold and not smelling off it should be re frozen and is fine to use.
Issues with delivery are rare, but do happen, please bear all of this in mind when ordering a frozen product for delivery.
