The DD HMA 80 M tap water filter is a THREE pod (10") unit with a choice of cartridge housings and fittings.
The presence of chlorine and chloramine or lead (if present) can be harmful to fish, and biological filtration bacteria.
This combination of cartridges will remove Chlorine @2mg/l to 217.000 litres, Chloramine (if present) @ 3mg/l to 60.000 litres and Lead (if present) @.15mg/l to 54,000 litres.
Housings
- Spectrum brand, choose between black, or one clear for the sediment filter and two black for the carbons.
- There is an additional charge of £5 for the clear filter.
Fittings
- 1/4 and 3/8 inch for optimal flow control, ease of installation and a large range of optional fittings are available.
Cartridges
1 x Spectrum Sediment, 1 x Spectrum PFBC and 1 x Spectrum SFBC-PB cartridge which combined removes sediment, Chlorine, Chloramines and Lead (if present) from tap water.
- Property built before 1970 may still have lead pipes, so choose the DD HMA 80 M. Property built after 1970 should not have lead pipe in the mains supply, so consider the DD HMA 80 filter.

Supplied complete ready to use with 8 meters of tube, shut off valve, John Guest 3/4" female fitting which fits washing machine fittings / outside taps or any male 3/4" thread and comprehensive installation and maintenance instructions.
