Maintenance is quick and easy
The pre-filter module means no more bothersome removal of the filter, the pre-filter module is simply removed, rinsed out and reinserted. The unique shut-off automation and safety locking mechanism prevents water escaping when removing the pre-filter module. The vent button for effective water intake, giving a fast and easy start up when installing and after cleaning
Heater
The Oase "heat up" heater slots perfectly into the unit. This leaves the top of the heater protruding from the top for adjustment to the correct temperature without having to open the filter canister. As the design ensure the aquarium water passes the heater element, this process ensure even heat distribution and is way more efficient than traditional in aquarium heaters.
Large filter volume
Large baskets stack inside the filter body to house the filter media, ensuring maximum exposer for the water to the biological and mechanical processes.
Hel-X media for efficient biological filtration, and mechanical/biological cleaning with filter sponges is ideally coordinated to ensure healthy and clear aquarium water. The water flows through the pre-filter first, protecting the biological media from most water borne particles and ensuring a clear aquarium to view your fish.

Standard 12 month from date of purchase warranty - Can be extended to total of 48 months providing product is registered at time of purchase with Oase. Details of how to do this are shipped with the filter.
IMPORTANT - Whilst in our experience warranty claims are very rare with Oase products, on occasion somethings do fail. Any "part" with a warranty claim must be returned to us, for us to return to Oase. You can either (having consulted us) return the part in the post, or bring it to the shop in person.
Of course this may render the filter "out of action" which we understand perfectly is not ideal - so it is prudent to have a spares to hand.
The heater, if this were to fail, replacement can be a spare Oase "Heatup", or you can install a heater to the aquarium whilst warranty claim is settled. In the installation kit supplied when the filter is new is a "heater blanking plug" - keep this safe as you will need it to run a Biomaster Thermo with out the internal heater.
