I've been keeping fish for 25 years in various facets of the hobby. My interest gained in 2012 when I got quite heavily interested in aquascaping and planted tanks, however circumstances led me to look for a change in focus. An article from Mark Evenden in Practical Fish Keeping magazine sparked an interest in the possibility of keeping discus, then a fellow aquascaper and UKAPS co-founder George Farmer created a planted discus aquascape and that was it, I knew I wanted to try discus keeping. Many myths about keeping discus prevented me from ever trying them but on reading Marks article and doing some extra research I felt comfortable that the Stendker line would fit comfortably with my lifestyle. I haven't been disappointed and keeping discus has been a pleasure. If you follow the basics it really is simple and everyone can keep the king of the aquarium within their homes.
Many thanks to Devotedly discus, Mark Evenden and Stendker discus for quality service and quality fish.
